This is what I'm planning to do for offcut / wood working storage, how much hassle is it to get a sheet of plywood out of your setup? I considered the safe-t-racks but I might build my own using unistrut.

Something you should consider as well as fire, is the rest of the implementation. I totally agree with the recommendations to bolt, disguise etc... Look back to the story about the guys ramming a truck through the wall, or roommates etc... How many people know what where and how your stuff is...

I keep threatening to buy one. Wife thinks I am nuts. My argument is that we are on a canal connected to the ocean and I don't want Roundup runoff going into the water. The city sprays something on the edges every few months and it kills fishing for a while.
