    Hazet tool thread

Nice car! It looks like an E31 8 Series. What model? CSi? :) In response to your question, my 1990 E34 535i's tool kit contains tools made by Heyco and Walter. Good Luck!

    wrench 17x19 metric

OK, I don't know where you're located, but my 1990 BMW tool kit has Heyco brand open ended wrenches in 17x19 and 8x10. If that's too expensive, check with a junkyard to see if they have any tools from an old BMW! Good Luck!

    wrench 17x19 metric

Does it have to be a European brand? If not, you can get Snap On. They have a 17/19 open end wrench: http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=&item_ID=633474&group_ID=675019&store=&dir=catalog They also have a 8/10 open wrench...

anyone ever use a 7mm hex?

Very nice! You have a nice set of Campy tools!:thumbup: I've never seen that allen key holder, but like that you use a SO 7mm hex socket. The left hand thread crank puller is a very nice tool. I have the normal "righty" version. I also had that hub puller, but sold it when I gave away my...

anyone ever use a 7mm hex?

That's interesting. Can you post a picture of that tool? My old Campy C-Record crankset required a 7mm hex for removal. Then in the mid90s, they conformed to the standard and are now using 8mm crank bolt extractors. Good Luck!

Automotive wiring plugs, is there an easy way?

Does anyone know what cars use the type of connectors this tool would work with? American - Ford/Chevy? Japanese - Toyota/Honda? European like BMW? Good Luck!

    Sears Hot Deal discussion

OK, what are you working on that requires the use of an 11mm? Is it a car? If so, what make? Most Japanese cars use 8, 10, 12, 14, 17 and 19; Euro cars 10, 13, 15, 17, 19 and 21mm. I almost never use 11mm.

    German made tools

German tools are great. My BMW's tool kit comes with 3 Walter wrenches, a Heyco plier and spark plug socket and a couple of other tools not labeled. I also have a long Wera 10mm hex socket. All good stuff and seems to work well. Good Luck!

Someone sell me a SO ratcheting screwdriver...

If that's the case, then you obviously wouldn't want to buy the SO version. For those of us who like the SO ratcheting screwdriver, the Williams is a great way to experience the SO quality at 1/2 the price! What's not to like?! Good luck!:p:thumbup:

Someone sell me a SO ratcheting screwdriver...

If you want to try a SO ratcheting screwdriver without paying SO prices, get yourself a Williams' ratcheting screwdriver: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002NI1LZK/?tag=atomicindus08-20 At $31.85 shipped, it is basically 1/2 the price of a SO! Of course, you have to like the blue color...
