Are Fluke Multimeters Worth The Substantial Extra Money?

I saw higher in this thread someone recommended the AstroAI 6000 count multimeter, wanting to replace an early 90's Craftsman multimeter (not sure who manufactured it for Sears) with a foggy readout screen I did a little research and took the plunge. I received the new AstroAI quickly and was...

In-Floor Heat Loop Design & Boiler Sizing

I have a 30 x 70 x 12, 4 loops, total 1600 feet in the floor, my unit was spec'd out by I think Radiant Floor. It's a Takagi TK Jr. 140k, I keep my floor at 51° and run the adjustable burner at around 100k. Your space is larger than mine 180k unit sounds like it's in the correct range. Good luck!

Toolbox widget - I guess black Friday was too much for them.

I placed my order on Nov 26, mine arrived yesterday Dec 7th. The website had a disclaimer when I placed the order that volume was high and ship times slower. Toolbox Widget great products!

Radiant floor heat & overhead propane heater?

I run two, again a different twist. I have the floor heated by tankless propane, I keep it low (cause it was going to break the bank) and when I up there I take the chill off with a Kerosene forced air heater. I think it works great, just my opinion. Bill

    Pictures of radiant tubing installed

You might want to consider filling it with just air, fill it to about 30-40 psi. If you fill it with water, and unfortunately have a leak, the water will give you extra soupy concrete. Put a guage on it, if it is located in the rear of the structure use a digital camera with zoom to monitor that...

    More radiant heat questions.

Will, I used the Takagi T-K Jr. (see link below) basicall a tankless hot water heater, it is a closed system running on propane. I do believe if i were to do it again I would choose an oil fired burner. Propane is not cheap in my area. Let me know if you have other questions, I also have tons...

    More radiant heat questions.

I used the Insulation Barrier in my 30x70 garage. Installation went well, seems like a very good product. I only have one season of heating on my radiant floor system. Bill
