I'm just curious, what is the purpose for burying outside UF 24" deep? Is it too protect from things that dig? water? Frost?

Also, is romex ok if I'm going to be insulating inside, or would it be better to use UF all around?

Can I use UF to the first outlet inside and then go romex from there?

There is a 15 Amp breaker tied to the garage. I'd assume we do not want to go bigger than that? There is not a gfci, would I just make that my first outlet in the shed? I'm in Iowa
