    Tools of Japan

Nice tools here... Been looking around and figured I'd see what the users here have to say.... Besides Amazon.co.jp / and domestic dealers? Any Japanese Online stores specifically that you'd recommend to purchase brands like KTC? Seems like domestic dealers of KTC have limited inventory and...

PB Swiss if it's within your budget. One Caveat as stated earlier... whatever fits your hand the best. PB Offers: Classic: Hard Handle <a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/181885608@N05/48026879287" title="IMG_4823"><img...

Well... from a professional standpoint, I can see why the Proto is more desirable (Larger, sturdier, etc). From my view, as a hobbyist, I enjoy the nostalgic design with improved odds and ends. You aren't wrong though... it's sort of a catch-all for tools. Not the most ideal for a single toolbox.

    Bought Stahwille from Amazon.de

Purchased a lot from Amazon.de and some from Amazon.jp. I always make it a habit to make sure it's "ship and sold by amazon" in case of damage (which has happened before) or missing items. Amazon.de has always helped me out and never screwed me. Sure the wait time is ~14 - 21 days for the...

    Trouble with Chad's Tool Box

Like to add my current ongoing experience to save some other buyers the frustration. I contacted Chads about checking 2 separate items to verify they're in stock. I was told over their IM service that they had well over 80 pieces in stock for one item and over 30 for the other. I made an...

Hazet quality is very nice. I like their stainless set a lot. There's an old school sense to it, if that makes any sense. The chroming on Stahlwille I like more; more of a matte finish. As others have stated on this forum, Hazet has an older look, but works. PB sells sockets, albeit with...

I was reading a bit about stahlwille's USA warranty and how customer/users shipped back wrenches/ sockets/ etc. and never had an issue with an exchange for a new part. YMMV I suppose. I'm just a casual user who appreciates high quality tools :)

$11.86 to my door for two new sockets :) As far as warranty? It's lifetime. Actually mailing it in and not having the convenience of a tool truck?... point taken, that's true.

Ordered some sockets from Amazon at awesome prices; 1/4" 12mm & 3/8" 15mm. Look legit to you? (I've never owned Stahlwille as of yet, but liking what I'm seeing). Only thing in question is the chroming on the 3/8" 12pt deep-socket? Normal?
