Can I put two GFCIs on one circuit?

There are lots of reasons to not put on GFCI in and run everything off that. First one GFCI can run to every bath outlet...Lets say you trip it in the upstairs bath then you have to walk all the way down stairs to reset. I would $20 one time to never have to do that. Also outside outlet is...

    Back stabbing/back wiring

I am glad to see this thread has stayed positive. My 2 cents is this. Side wire are nice but I would prefer option C they are easy to work with. I replaced all the outlets in my living room and children's rooms with tamper proof outlets that are back wire side screw type receptacles. The...

Adding ( pigtail) another electrical outlet from existing.

I would agree with Stuart on this. Is this an insulated wall? just asking because it will make running a new receptacle a bit more involved.

Question? Will a Energy efficient electric dryer cost more or less then a Gas dryer

I agree with these guys on the gas being the cheapest (most of the time) My old house had a gas dryer and my new house had an old electric. after replacing the electric i found there to be almost no difference in price from gas to electric. I found my biggest savings in my a/c unit I went from...

    warm gfci

hhhmmmm LOL this as turned into a sh!t storm. By issues I was more so looking at putting a gfci on the load side of a gfci. Like was stated they can trip and be a pita. But i was just giving a statement that anyone can take the way they wish. Most of the other members here seem to be...

    warm gfci

Not wrong. they can have issues with bleed voltage and one can trip the others if they are not wired correctly. GFCI devices do have a small circuit board inside them that can get warm if you have a loose conection anywhere in the circuit. But if they are all getting a little warm I would say...

    warm gfci

What gage wire are you using, What size circuit, and check your connections. Also make sure you don't put two gfci receptacles on one circuit or you could have issues.
