    Painting osb

Absolutely use Kilz, the paint might cover the ink however the osb will soak up the paint like a sponge without the Kilz.

    Airplane buffs

That's pretty cool, there are also some that look like the front cowling, prop & cone from a p-40, available in the "Flying Tigers" colors & others, Too Cool!

    Rate this price...

Morton has a great product, kind of the Maybach of metal buildings, generally they are grossly over built, which is fine but is it necessary, I mean if code says you need a 30lb/sq. ft. snow load do you really want to pay for a building rated for 75. I would look up Ag building dealers in your...

new project to build with my son.

Have fun @ SEMA, wish I was making the trip this year. Don't worry the paint will be dry enough, in '08 I finished painting my truck (House of Kolor of course) literally hours prior to leaving for the show & by that time I (we) had to drive it, time was too short to make our move in deadline to...

    Snap on or Mac

I would buy the Snap On or another brand like SK or Craftsman before the Mac, Mac tools just aren't all that great, they usually come in close to Snap On but no where near the quality. HTH.

    Fastening Garage Cabinets to Ceiling?

You might try Strong Tie by Simpson (the guys that make all those neat little metal hangers etc. that framers love to cuss), they have a lot of information regarding their products loading abilities so they might have info on their screws. HTH

    Fastening OSB

Glad to see you got a cool new tool, I have a Pam gun that I just love, makes quick work of screwing down subfloors & deck boards etc. oh yeah drywall too. FYI for future users interested in the same topic I strongly suggest screws or at least ring shank nails for osb or the like on the...

I could kick myself for not buying this sooner.

Don't worry about the comments about cutting the springs, I have done it on street cars/trucks & race cars, everything from factory to Afco, Hyperco, Suspension Spring Specialists, Eibach Etc. I also know a great deal of very successful racers who have cut springs for a variety of reasons. The...

Can wall mount cabinets attach to ceiling?

Tapcons, definitely. I'd suggest picking up a cheap hammer drill @ HF or the like, it saves a lot of time & headaches over a standard drill.

    Best air hose - ?

Pass on the Black Goodyear hoses from HF, they are about the same as the cheap colored vinyl hoses. I've had good luck with some green hoses I picked up @ Menards (sorry I don't recall the brand) & also some I get @ a local industrial hose supplier locally.

    Compressor size?

A lot of good information here. I have had a good deal of experience (15+ years) owning a pair of Big Quincy compressors, they were flawless in that time. When I bought a compressor for my "home" shop I couldn't find a smaller Quincy, I have since found them & when mine needs replacing it will...

    NDS Trench Drains

I bought some of these when I built my shop, but after messing with them I took them back & purchased the Acco trench drains & collection pits. After 8 years of car, truck, tractor & semi traffic no problems, this is 1 product I will buy again if or when I move.
