Nice. So you saw my patent date looked like the same as yours. Before 1950 vintage, correct?

Wow Mintgrun! You picked that up and I never even saw it. Looking closer I believe that you are correct it does look like a "WP2". Great eye! Thanks Don. So I'll take it since the Pat. date is the same as in your pics, that the tool is pre 1950's. It looks like the "flutes" on the handle of...

Looks like your pics also have those same patent numbers. Didnt know Phillips provided shanks to others. Makes sense. Have any clue on who the tool manufacturer would be for the tool I have? No markings so maybe it will remain a mystery....

Show your Indestro and Duro-Chrome tools

Thanks four.cycle, wonder want the difference in the 30's version and the 70's version? Looks like the ones in the ads you posted just have "Indestro" name on them where the one I have has "Chicago" etc.

Hi guys! Picked up an Indestro ratchet. From what I have researched, looks like it may be the ratchet out of a No. 1236 Socket set. Alloy Art. reads that it should be from mid 30's to 40's. Any other info. from the resident experts? (hopefully getting these pic downloads down!)

Well, guess I am challenged. Not getting the "insert thumbnail" and when trying to use the "Insert Image" from the bar up top it loads "grayed out" and come back with "Oops, encountered a problem"
