I have one. I've not had any problems with it, but realistically I doubt it's capable of more than 150 ft. lbs of torque. If that's all your needs are, then it will be fine.
I have an Airco EasyArc AC/DC welder that has been used very little and I have decided to sell it. I'm not sure how old it is, but is in very good condition. What would be a fair price to ask for it?
I was in Costco today and they had 150 piece USA made tool kits. One set was open so I checked a bag of sockets for coo, they were USA made and it also indicated this on the plastic box the tools came in. When I was in a Sears store a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't find a small tool set...
I have the Ryobi 1/2 cordless impact with the lithium batteries. It is rated at 200 ft. lbs., but my guess is the actual usable torque is closer to 125 ft. lbs. I have had no problems with mine, and a decent gun for the money, but make sure you don't need more power than it will deliver. On...
I have the 1/2 drive Ryobi. I like it for what I need it for, but I think the torque rating is closer to 100-150 ft. lbs. than the 200 Ryobi says it has.
I have many of the 18v Ryobi tools including the P-260. The 1/2 (P-260) isn't bad and I have had no problems with it or any of their other 18v cordless tools. I do think the amount of torque the wrench delivers is closer to 125 ft. lbs. than the 200 ft. lbs. advertised. It works well on wheel...
Can't comment on the Kobalt, but I do have the Ryobi and for the most part I have been very satisfied with them. For homeowner use they are a good buy, and function well. I have had no problems with any of their cordless tools. Don't waste your money on the nicad models if they even make them...
I had on 1/4 ratchet that was defective from the start, but was replaced with no questions asked. I have never broken any of their other tools, but I don't abuse them. I am not a professional though.
Are Craftsman ratchets considered junk because they break, or because of the coarseness of their mechanism? I'm not a tech, but a serious DIY, and seriously I've never had one fail working on engines, cars, and different projects in the garage. I can understand where the course mechanism...
