I have just seen this older post, I also have the same model, first off you tranposed the number on your vise.....its a 542....not 524, my question to you is about the swivel base large main bolt ...looking for bolt dimensions, going to try and make one as mine was missing...any hel would be...

looking for dimensions of swivel bolt....from my measurements I believe its a 7/8 x 14 pitch and about 2 inches long for this R I 542 BX any help would be great
