check for a broken wire around the area where the left trunk hinge is, open the plastic sheathing and you will find multiple semi broken thru wires. you opening and closing the trunk flexes the wire in this spot

had a mid efficiency furnace installed while i was away, came home and went to inspect itand found that installer had exhaust plumbed outside thru wall but intake pipe is left in house, about a foot straight out of furnace with an elbow, my question is this proper or should air intake be outside...
