    WTB: SnapOn FX80 and FK80

Just like the title reads, looking for a SnapOn FK80 and an FX80.

Kobalt 16 piece 1/2" ratchet and socket set on sale for $19.95

Most definitely! I was initially considering getting the Kobalt version, but I was a bit hesitant to trust the unisize spline sockets. I had a Sears gift card for $30 and used a $10 coupon to get this set for only $29 out the door...

Kobalt 16 piece 1/2" ratchet and socket set on sale for $19.95

Very true. Thankfully I also keep a Craftsman 6 point pass through ratchet set in my rig as well for when I absolutely need to use a 6 point socket.

Kobalt 16 piece 1/2" ratchet and socket set on sale for $19.95

I definitely prefer 6 point sockets as well. But for an emergency set of tools, this will do. :D

Kobalt 16 piece 1/2" ratchet and socket set on sale for $19.95

I'll agree with that line of thinking, although I really do like the Pittsburgh Pro 1/2" extendable ratchet sold at HF for only $14.99. This is my go-to ratchet for lug nuts: http://www.harborfreight.com/1-2-half-inch-extendable-ratchet-98831.html

Kobalt 16 piece 1/2" ratchet and socket set on sale for $19.95

I agree. When doing minor maintenance on my truck, I typically just grab my Kobalt ratchet sets out of the tool kit I keep in the back of the truck. I love my Snap-On tools but these are more than adequate for most jobs. They are definitely more than adequate to repair my rig in the event of a...

Kobalt 16 piece 1/2" ratchet and socket set on sale for $19.95

I was in Lowes this evening buying some supplies to build a pig pen, when I decided to take a look at the tool section to see if there was a cheap 1/2" drive socket set on sale that I could throw into the back of my Lexus LX450 (same as the 80 series Toyota Land Cruiser). I found this...

    Kobalt tools worth a darn?

While I favor craftsman and SnapOn for home use, I think the Kobalt ratchet/socket sets make great tools to keep in mobile/emergency kits. I keep a full 3/8" and 1/4" drive in my Land Cruiser. I have done some light maintenance and repairs with them, and haven't managed to break a ratchet or...

    Long 3/4" dr. flex handle?

What's the consensus on this ratchet then? I don't have any 3/4" tools yet, and this seems like it would be a pretty versatile ratchet to have as a foundation.

    Long 3/4" dr. flex handle?

I stumbled across this telescoping 3/4" ratchet that extends from 24" to 39 3/4". It's made by a company called Neiko. It doesn't have a flex head, but it certainly looks interesting. Has anybody used this...

    Damn Chinese Quality Control

I used to have the same set of lights. I had several issues including the housing completely falling apart, the switches breaking, and something else that I can't quite remember. I used it for a while as best as I could, and then threw it away eventually. I guess it's a good disposable set of...

    Need an intervention....

I'm glad that I was able to make such a positive impact on the community with my obsessive reviews and videos. :) I just feel obligated to share the wealth when it comes to such a fine product, and outstanding value that GearWrench typically offers up.

    Need an intervention....

The only problem is that ALL of my other drawers are just as completely stuffed as this one. I really need to pickup another 41" CSPS box one of these days.
