Patching Anchor holes in Concrete block

I was looking around at work and had a bag of Rapid Set Mortar Repair, I picked up a few packets of their Set retarder and added 1 packet to each batch I mixed. I got about 40-50 minutes of pot life out of each batch. I plan on finishing up tomorrow, I post up some pics.

Patching Anchor holes in Concrete block

I am decommissioning a rental unit that was used as a gym. I have a ton of anchors that were used to mount gym equipment to the walls, I need to remove them and patch the holes. Normally I would just use hydraulic cement out of a small can to patch. But i have easily 75-100 anchor holes varying...

    Torque Wrench Ranges

the best route to start is with 3 micrometer style wrenches 1/4,3/8,1/2 then add the digital 3/8 that does digital angle. followed by the 1/2 digital. Then you'll be covered the TechAngle is nice because it can be set to a ton of different scales as well as Torque then Angle. It will indicate...

    Why 8-10, 9-11, 12-14, 13-15 Splits Instead of 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, etc?

I ran across this recently with the Metric Zero Offset High Performance box wrenches from snapon XDHFM series, they are sold in 2 sets with different combinations. My dealer explained to me they are grouped like this for sales purposes. Its easier to sell a smaller cheaper set with the common...

Buying a house with an existing garage/shop....

Most water plant operators are very detail oriented. Not tooting my own horn but its a very important job that doesn't get nearly enough recognition or press. Most people only think about their utilities when they have problem.... They say that plumbers help protect the health of the nation...

Buying a house with an existing garage/shop....

in my area its hard to find a lot this size withthe ability to build a garage. I thing it already having a garage with high ceilings is a huge plus. If i were to buy this house I would probably figure out where my box would go first, and quickly redo the sheetrock and paint. then set the box in...

Buying a house with an existing garage/shop....

Nassau county is a very densely populated suburban area with some areas that are also classified as urban. The average house lot is 60x100...... a lot of setback rules to follow with property lines etc make building a detached structure on a small lot very difficult.
