    Yes, but they are not very sturdy. They will work for my limited purposes of just keeping the case from opening while carrying it around my home garage, but if you're taking your case all over and sliding under seats, etc., I would probably buy something else.     Yes, I filled them with a special thick glue that hardens like plastic. It's like plastic-wood, but for plastic. It takes 24 hours for a full cure so I haven't touched my case yet, I usually wait 48 hours just to be sure.

    Thank you for sharing that. I've ordered some latches from Amazon that I think will work best for what I want to do, but if they won't do what I'm picturing, I'm definitely ordering those that you sent. Would prefer to have black latches on my black case. Much appreciated!

    I've had this Sears/Craftsman socket set with blow molded case for decades. I use it often and it fits perfectly in my garage drawer. One of the side holders broke off and the other one is going. I use white duct tape to keep the one side closed, but I just keep it flat in and out of the drawer...
