I make sit-stand desks for a living and decided to turn one into an adjustable, heavy-duty workbench. Took it up another notch and made it work with Siri + added casters. Even made one for a buddy at a local cabinet shop. If you want to see it move, here's a video

I'd be interested in seeing the process. I've seen a few people try to do it, but only got the "before" and "after" - no in-between.

The best advice I think I've gotten is to try to buy all one brand (or as much as possible). That way power cords and battery packs are more universal. It just makes it much easier to keep track of. Also, stick with a well-known brand (ie. not Harbor Freight lol).

Yeah, casters work great! Just keep in mind that the size of the casters will affect the height of your workbench. Also, take a peek at the flooring of your shop or where the table will be moved. Rolling over cracks or concrete joints is a lot easier with bigger casters. I added casters to my...
