Very interested in the details of this bar build as I was just about to do the same thing in my basement and your design is better than the one I was going to go with - thanks for sharing
Continuing the pictures.....
Next is to switch back to the new shop as I'm still intending to install a 2 post lift so I can get busy on the old cars and get them back on the road
This new shop was built to create a much better space to work on my old and new cars than the original garage/basement which was under the house. That combined space was approx 1300sq ft and was roughed in for a full bath etc when the house was built in 1984.

Hey JB - I diverted away from the shop to focus on renovating the old garage basement this shop replaced under the house. That represents about 1300sq ft of potential living space for........ A man cave 2 !!!
I'll post some pictures of that as I wasn't thinking beyond the shot on here but...

Finally got a chance to use the shop for what it was built for this past weekend. I fixed a phantom grill and installed Halo color changing lights on his Challenger. I was able to use my new wheel dollies to move my Challenger off to the side one handed - very happy
picked up a couple cabinets ( 1 large and 3 small ) and a set of shelves. I'd like to build a strong large storage shelf above the workbench for rubbermaid storage tubs and have the 3 smaller cabinets just below - reachable from the bench
So I'm beginning to move in now that the painting is done - to save money I'm trying to reuse some of the items from the old garage. I managed to move my tool chest up the steep incline without dying. My daughter drove our riding tractor slowly while my son and I stabilized - no issue
Second...
