I spent far too much of my career as a factory industrial sales rep. cleaning up messes created by common carrier truck lines: missed pick-up and delivery times and dates (sometimes missed weeks), freight shortages and damage, "lost" shipments, delivery to wrong addresses, incorrect delivery...
I usually oil mine after each use, just as a precaution against corrosion. Even with an in-line air dryer, tools can pick up some condensation, especially in a humid climate. I had an air ratchet jam up after a few months of non-use ... corrosion.
Raquel Welsh was one of the Ridgid calendar models back in the 60's. I saw her on TV recently ... she still looks pretty hot! Ridgid calendars were tough to get when I sold industrial products to distributors ... quantities were limited based on the distributor's purchase volume of Ridgid products.
