    sheating tape pulling up

I just got done hanging 6mil poly on three of my walls last week, then started to tape the poly to the poly that wraps around my outlet boxes and it seemed to stick pretty good until I went out to the garage today, and pretty much each area taped had sections pulled up and not sealed. Has...

    insulate beind breaker box?

I would unscrew it, but the cables coming in from the meter are hot unless I get the power company to cut the power, so not something I want to try. I do need to do a vapor barrier, wonder if I use the spray foam that the foam would act as a barrier? thanks guys

    insulate beind breaker box?

I have 16" on center 2x6 studs, and have my breaker box flush mounted. I should have insulated behind the box before it was installed, but too late now. There is only about 1.5" of space behind it, and I can not get the rigid foam board behind it due to the nails from the siding poking through...

    Cuurent LED recommendations

Does anyone know how many of these you can run with the double sided plugs? The wires are only 18 gauge. Not sure how much power you can run through 18 gauge 120v service. On the end of the clover shaped plug it says 2.5 amps. So if I go 120 (volts) x 2.5 (amps for plug) =300watts or 16.66 tubes...

    Disconnect for hard wired equipment?

Not 100% sure, still wrapped up at the riggers shop, rather not unwrap until I get it delivered. I can try and get a better look to make sure. This one is wired for 208v, or so what the dealer had told me. 2/3 the hp, loose 1/3 going to single phase without using a phase converter. Still...

    Disconnect for hard wired equipment?

Actually the transformer will help. The transformer is recomended by fadal to run the machine on single phase. Some cnc mills are capable of running on single phase when using the correct transformers (internal transformer, not external). Anywho, I am thinking about the disconnect as I might...

    Disconnect for hard wired equipment?

I am putting a cnc machine in the garage, and with the single phase (240v) transformer that will be put in the machine it will run off single phase 60 amp breaker. Question I have is what is needed for equipment that does not use outlet receptacles? Can I use a disconnect like this (says it is...

    Cuurent LED recommendations

Thanks! I ordered 10 and if I like them I will order 10 more. With the plug in setup they are using, I assume if they are hard wired they need a junction box? They do not look to like floressents how the wires enter the fixture itself. Maybe outlet boxes are the better choice......?

    The Best Light Fixture Ever!

Man, I thought going with six of the two bulb 4' t8's was going to be overkill, now it sounds like I will be still in the dark..... I have a 24'x24'x10' garage that WILL be sheetrocked with flat ceiling. Will the LED's be good? Will 10 of the LED be enough? The garage will be car work area on...
