I drywalled & insulated the space under the stairs (leading up to the attic) and am planning on putting in a steel door to deaden the sounds a bit. Air line is dropped from the ceiling through the wall so it should be pretty quiet.

The identical 41" boxes are starting to pop up at the Costco's around Chicago...

I have seen them made from 2x4's and conduit, like a rack where they line up horizontally... Makes it pretty easy to organize and store.
