    Another space saving idea is to ditch the engine hoist and put in a i-beam with a trolley on it. Since your walls and ceiling are already exposed, it would be an easy addition.     Looks nice! You can pick up some space downstairs by putting your air compressor in the loft and running line drops at both ends of the shop.
