I have seen many posts here and on other forums about Evaporust but I have never used it. Do you think this has an advantage over vinegar or molasses for the purpose of keeping the logo intact? Is it a better rust removing method than the other two I mentioned?

I've been using the vinegar and salt method to remove rust from some old tools and it works pretty well. I just picked a cool vintage Mercury vise that has a nice color logo many of you have seen before. What is the best method to de-rust the vise while keeping the logo intact? I was thinking...
