Nice collection there Don! I used a lot of different tool brands over the years and SK never let me down. They had a good thing going for a long time.

I found this 1/2" drive ratchet at the flea market the other day. Couldn't just leave it there. It is marked Pat Pend, which I belive puts it before 1941. I took it apart, cleaned and lubed it, and it works fine. I'm kind of partial to SK since I've used them to make a living most of my life.

Thanks OR. I just looked through the 1932 catalog. It has the 800 series, heavy walled chrome alloy sockets. That would put the set right in the 1930s like you said. Now it looks like I need a 916 ratchet!

I know what you mean! I've always had an appreciation for "old" stuff! I gave the Walden Worcester set its own home. Don't know where this box came from, but seems to fit.
