I have looked through so many threads, posts, videos and writeups on this subject and nothing really stuck out that I wanted to pursue. Except maybe two and I have no idea where the posts are now or what site they’re on. But I’ve included a few pics of them and their info.
I’m not super...
I’m going to throw my two cents in here, take it for what it’s worth. I have a midsize box from the 80s. Can’t remember the model number off the top of my head.
I’m a millwright that works in a factory type setting and we move our boxes around all over the facility quite often. The detents in...
While I don’t post often, but I check the thread weekly for the great finds. This isn’t a garage sale or flea market find. It’s a freebie from work.
Backstory: Visited one of our company’s nearby pump stations last March and saw that the electrician had purchased a new snowblower for the...
I have to agree. Example: Place I worked gave a bunch of us Proto torque wrenches. First time I used it I hated it. Low tooth count and you had to move the damn thing 6" while you were tightening to get to the next tooth. Gave it away and bought a much better torque wrench.

Finding the vises is one thing. But to find the advertising for them has got to be a whole different level of difficulty. That stuff isn't just sitting around like old gas station and service station memorabilia. I can't say I've ever seen any before this video.

Edit: I was a little late to the game on this one. We still use these quite often on our pipeline pump bearings. Although, a bit newer style scraper.
The Snap On 3/8 dr. ratchet but in a 1/4 dr. ratchet size. I can't remember the model number right now. I thought it was a pointless little ratchet that really had no reason to be used. I bought one cheap at a flea market and now I use the **** out of that thing! One of my favorites now.
Been putting together tool sets for both my daughters. I feel it’s important that they both have their own tool sets. That way they learn to be independent and not always having to rely on someone for something as little as hanging a picture or whatever. (Oldest just changed a battery in her...
