The tripod style that I see at HF have perhaps 12" of threaded adjustment, then 6" pin increments to get your entire range of heights advertised. Im wondering if someone owns these and finds the mixture of pins and threads frustrating.

Great thinking on locating the arms over your framework. Have you considered putting casters on your wheel frames so you can also use them as wheel dollies?
Mine (XPR-10CX) came in friday last week, and I too was suprised to find the same stickers on the bottom of the posts when the northern tool page that I ordered from had a big "MADE IN USA" logo at the bottom of the product page. So I dont think yours was a fluke.

You didnt mention the year or application. I looked up a 2000 GXP L67, and found a stud PN 24504462 for the throttle body to supercharger. Go to gmpartsdirect.com to verify that your application uses the same part number.
Anyhow, for a PN 24504462, this is threaded M6x1.0 on both sides. 9.5mm...
