    2015 Garage SaleThread

    Okay, I finally made a score tonight. As near as I can tell, 1972 10" Craftsman RAS with the full steel base. It does need a switch wired in but thats no biggie. I`ll post pics tomorrow, I need to setup a photo account. I almost forgot, $25 out the door.

The bolt that held the distributor in place was stripped and being young and extremely inteligent we decided it didnt need to be fixed.     2x6 strength? How much weight will a truss in my garage hold?

    Ive got a 4x6 tied across 3 rafters and I`ve pulled several motors with it. I would suggest tying the bottom chords up to the rafters themselves so its spreading the weight out more. Ive pulled a few 3800s and a couple sbc`s and never had a problem.

    From looking at your pictures you are going to have a tuff time getting a 2x6 over the window and still stay under the soffit and then add your roofing. You may have to open up your soffit to get enough height. If you do it would make things easier to flash and keep the weather out. Either way I...
