Sorry this happened, fire is a terrible thing. You will come back from this even if it does not seem possible right now.

    Power sterring question

Lots of good advice here, use good parts, if they have ran low it WILL put **** through the whole system, sometimes you can flush it out, some times you can not. As far as ATF (dexron 2, 3) or PS fluid, I worked for Valvoline for years as the lead mechanic for a packaging plant, the last 2...

    How many pilots out there?

PP, Instrument, A&P, tail wheel, complex, the world looks better upside down. You guys may like this, a friend of mines little shop, he fools with airplanes a bit, fairly young guy, maybe 42, started flying warbids when he was a teenager, has over 200 hours in Mustangs at airshows and has...

Wash bay at home in new garage questions.

2 a week at most unless I move my working shop there, then it will be a higher number, then maybe 5. I know it is not going to be justifiable from a cost stand point, but I want to be able to wash and detail my personal cars out of the heat and cold.

I am not going to spend ten grand on a floor drain, I will look at other options before I spend that on a drain. I can see how it would cost that much to do it though.

No sewer or city water out there, but I will make sure it is permitted correctly. I would love to see a picture of yours, what did you do for the walls? Mitch (concrete guy) suggested a painted cinder block, I am not sold on that at all.

Nope, the dimensions of the C5/C6 transaxle are all wrong for a 928. Been talk and drawings of a six speed for ten years, even a web site, but alas, it is vaporware. I wish there was a conversion kit for them, we really need a good strong 5/6 speed for some of the cars, the stock units are only...

If you say so, but for me I am not going to get under one that is not after having a non certified lift try to kill me. In the grand scheme of things, is it worth 700 bucks to be safe?
