Was going to start a thread on this but what about coating the batteries with dielectric grease? Would that help prevent the corrosion that seems to be prevalent in these types of flashlights over time.

When I rebuilt my 2T Hein Warner jack, it got refilled with dextron ATF, been working fine ever since.

That's a good idea, have it ready for next use, also turning it off keeps the batteries from going dead...:ROFLMAO:

That jack might be useful for tractor maintenance but I don't think it will be usefull for automotive use, it just seems to tall to get under cars. For the price, I would look into a HF Daytona 3ton HD jack for automotive use. Just my opinion.

Some new Lisle CV boot clamp pliers and some CV boot clamps. I was having the hardest time sourcing these clamps locally, you would think being in a big city it would be easy, those days are gone, eBay to the rescue for the clamps, and RockAuto for the pliers.

5 Gallon bucket for me, holds the tools and small parts, wheel it around on a hand truck which holds the larger parts also. If only going for a few small parts, I carry a small tool bag only. This is on a trip a few years ago to get some parts for my son's Jeep. You can strap a lot of parts...
