Good job on the DIY garage. Can you tell more about the lift. What is the distance from the finished wall to the post, it looks tight. With the car on the lift how much room do you have to pull wheels and possibly an axel shaft. I have a tight spot to put a two post lift with about 6" off the...

Door looks fine and will "blend in" after the exterior is done. Seems like you did more than enough research and planing. Also, it's your shop and money, ask any questions you want.
