Chipping away, had some air bubbles that caused some "fog" but still happy with the results, prob one more pour to smooth it all out, then moving on to the trim....
Another pour today. I stired up the epoxy a bit right after i poured, curious to see if it holds the swirls or not.
Should be able to start to clear coat by Friday.
Changed direction in the pour a bit, went with a blue river. Poured about 1.5”. Going to let it cure up then do another in a day or two. Still need to sand the top and clean up some runs from the seal coat. But hoping my the end of the week to be all done.
Waiting on epoxy. Added some basic shelving for some booze/ glasses and added the trim
Around the bars plus the back splash. Waiting on the Plummer to install the water, with insta hot, and the drain.
Its about 2.5" thick. what i have read and watched on youtube is that you do a first seal coat... then you can pour the whole thing or do it in parts. Im leaning towards 1 pour. then you go back and do a top coat.
We will find out soon! haha i better not screw it up, this epoxy isnt cheap haha
Working on the bar. Not a ton of updates up little by little. This part is going much slower … I’m doing the floor and the bar. The bar will have an epoxy River bar top. In the River will be sports memorabilia (fishing, jeeps, basketball) and vacation stuff from trips with the wife and kids...
I’m not putting a car in for a bit and when I do it won’t move much till the spring. I’ll do my rolling tool chest, the chest freezer and air compressor Sunday. But nothing big, until at least mid week. I rather err in the side of caution…
