Probably because at that price it's a loss for them. The guy I talked to showed me where it said tsc had $495 as there cost on the compressor. Mine had 3 tags on it, the original price of $649, one for $599 an the $399 one....

I managed to get one of these this morning which was one of the last 3 in my area. From what the guy at my local store said these are being discontinued an they won't be getting any more in. The sign on mine also said no rain checks. Go to your local store an they can check the region for you...

I haven't got one yet an i ordered at about 1845 eastern. It will take a few days probably before they come out. Thats how it worked on the welder from grainger anyway
