    Just got done taking it apart, it appears there is too much slop where the handle goes through the jaw preventing the screw from getting a good tight fit against the clamper. Not sure if there’s any way to repair it or it’s just worn out.

    I think the lever is stripped and it’s attached at the pivot using a pressed in pin of some sort so getting it off to look at is going to be a problem, everything else works as it should.

    I've had this vise for many years, can't remember where I got it but it doesn't screw in or out. It's a clamp on vise called a Grand Quickset with the 3 in jaws, I believe the lever that is supposed to move the screw is bad, seems like the spring that holds it in place is plenty strong.     So it’s fixable. Could someone explain how to bend it back straight with a hydraulic press, sounds like it could be a bit difficult. Thanks again to all that took time to respond.
