It is definitely a 1/4 inch..sorry, thought I got that I got that in there.. It really has had a hard life life..lol.. It looks like a 4 year old beat the paint off with a hammer..It is a heavy duty little thing though.. a lot heavier than I expected.. I found it in a barn on the farm I bought...

There may be a thread already out there for ID'ing tools, if so Ill be happy to move it..but its about 5 inches long..No makers mark/brand anywhere..and I know next to nothing about tools other than how to use them..sorry :( Anyways..any help or advice is appreciated..
