Wingnut, the floor looks great! I just spent a ton of time trying to map out the placement in my garage, then look and go, who am I kidding.....but it is nice to dream! Great team work over there as well! Keep the pictures and the updates coming, it is such a good motivator on this side of the...

Hey Jack, just stopping by, showed off your garage to a few friends, I think they are hooked. I also told them to vote for you, which I have been doing every day now! Hope everything is good, keep up the posts, and hopefully I will continue the progress on my build as well! BK

Not too bad, just been lurking and planning. I have been on Craigslist looking for some vintage tools and have just scored my first! I am super excited. Here are some pics. It looks to have a born on date of Feb. of 1961, so not quite the 1950's craftsman garage action, but man was I really...

    So here's mine. It's a bit messy

Soooo, I am dying here. Any updates? I would love to see how that mold came out! Nice build, I thought I was good with speakers....man was I wrong. BK

Congrats on the flooring win! Huge score, to a deserving contestant. The last pics are just great. I have been looking for vintage power tools everywhere now, and I have you to thank. I am not sure what tool to start with, as to my space requirements, but I think that if I find the right one...

No kidding! I agree, I have found myself putting together color schemes, and looking at floor tile colors, and epoxy sprinkle stuff, man! This thing really takes over! I have the plan of attempting to do the nylon rollers on my garage door this weekend and documenting the process, so we shall...

Rick: I am definitely going to rethink the lighting then. I am also going to do that top down schematic drawing (which is wicked by the way!) and play with some layouts, that drawing really opened up my eyes to the amount of choices there really are. BK

Nice updates! I really like the amount of light out there! I had only thought I would need two of those fluorescent lights out there, time to rethink that idea....anyhow, keep up the good work, it is making me want to keep going on mine for sure! BK

RL, Nice pics man! I too love old metal like that, the pics are inspiring to say the least. I have also had a run in with gun shots in the garage late at night, those springs are crazy loud when they break. I have the springs on the sides and the wire to go through them just for that reason...

You guys are great! @ Wolf, that was the cart I thought of making at first....should have thought that through a little more, but as I have seen on the GJ, I may just have to start over....oh well! @ Lowbuck, I have a poor mans version of a dust collector, a shop vac and a hose, I want to do a...

Now I like that a lot! that is a nice subtle color scheme that I could relate too ( and probably steal) Looks like you use it, which is a plus, and I am with Red on this one, lets get that floor going, you will have one wicked garage!

@ Rick: I am thinking that blue, but how to incorporate it and not overpower the area. But I like where your head is at! I am a mopar guy for now, but am not opposed to any brand that will treat me right! @ tinbender: I bet I have seen that style of work bench/work area for years now, and just...
