    Show your new tool arrivals

@mikeinri I don't know if they are still there but in Framingham Ma on Rt 9 there was a place called "Walter Dyer Is Leather" where I had some old Leathers that came from there years earlier that he rebuilt as I grew fatter, but they also replaced a couple of HD zippers in my older Carhartt...

    Do wobble impact extensions exist?

For any of my uses where something like that would be helpful I use the impact rated swivel extension, I run 3/8" drive and am neither a real mechanic or a tool collector tho. YMMV..

Which cordless tool brand is going to have the longest production life?

I had a ridgid drill and impact purchased in 2009 or 2010, never had a failure but they had become too big and heavy for my sever arthritis to handle them, I gave them to my brother and he uses them way more than I did and still going strong. I replaced them w/an m12 set and they are just as...

    Williams USA screwdrivers

I always liked the Snap-On hard handles and I had two stubbies that were a gift. I could never justify the cost and I got a set of williams about 6 years ago and have been very happy w/them. No issues, they were new on E-Bay.

Ridgid shop vac - adapter to connect 1-7/8" hose to 2-1/2" extension wand?

I threw my original ridgid hose away for the ridgid smaller one, it came with 4 or 5 attachments. I don't remember which ones came w/the vacuum and which ones came with the smaller hose but I have a couple that will fit the larger size or the smaller size. I would check home depot on line, I...

    Elevator at church

Elevator Techs are one of, if not the highest paid trade out there. If I was in my 20's and looking for a career this is where i'd look. We had numerous elevators including freight and passenger elevators when I worked for the FD at Pfizer, all 18 of us were trained on the basics of operation...

    Cheap impact

I had the 1/2 Ridgid non brushless and replaced it with the 3/8 ridgid as it was lighter and easier on my arthritic hands. My brother got the 1/2 and at almost 15 years old it still works great. Just another option

    SK Tools in 2025

Isn't that what I said? And someone confirmed I was correct.

    SK Tools in 2025

I was under the belief that any SK ratchet that has the green bar on the chrome handle is not Made In The USA, I could be wrong. Dewalts also come with yellow on their chrome handles, I;m NOT refering to the SK and Dewalt cushioned grips just the chrome handled ones.

Is Ridged Drill/Ipact Driver Kit w/ Battery Warranty The Best Way To Go???

I heavily invested into Ridgid about 15 years ago and never had an issue with tools or batteries, as I aged w/arthritis issues I found some of the tools heavy to use and replaced some with smaller milwaukee M12s which were much user friendly on my weaker hands. After that I passed many onto my...

SK made in US x-frame wrenches worth it?

I've got two SK socket sets and ratchets and a complete set of SAE and Metric flare nut wrenches that are most likely older than you, if you take care of your tools and don't abuse them why pay big $$$ for a warranty. Never owned an SK X-Frame wrench set but never heard anything bad about them...

    Best value sockets?

That was the intent, not everybody has a sense of humor...thanks for proving some do

    Best value sockets?

Do you record each and every use of what each and every tool is used on and how many rotations of each socket to loosen and tighten something and don't forget how many clicks on the ratchet. My brother is pretty **** but his spreadsheet is in his head.
