I built it all inside and built 4-8 foot tall lift towers to attach each chain hoist to. I used 3300 pound axel straps to hold the chain hoists up and each chain hoist was rated for 1 ton. I assumed my roof probably only weighed a few thousand pounds. My pictures are now uploading.
