Haven't posted in a while... garage project is mostly finished. My SL-C finally arrived

    1920’s(20’x35’) garage with flush lift

A custom bookshelf was built to fill in a bump in the wall between my parts cabinet and one of the work benches. I bought paint from Lista to match. While I still have a lot to do, I’m now parking the car in the garage.

Linda, I'm loving the cabinets. No problem using the photos. However, I'm in the process of finishing the garage and I'll post some much better pictures so you might want to wait.

The portaband base is from Swag and good value for money.

The Lista cabinets were installed by Joe from at Motorhead Extraordinaire. I’m glad that I chose Blaze Blue. When you get a premium paint color the drawer interiors are painted to match which is a lot nicer than the standard gray. I’ll post more pictures when I get things cleaned up a bit.

    1920’s(20’x35’) garage with flush lift

Several observations for anyone installing a 7x flush mount. The concrete diagrams are poor. Amongst other things they specify a 2” conduit vertically centered in the recess. Since the recess is 6” deep that would only leave <2” concrete on top which seemed thin to me given that it was going to...

How many of you have a pee funnel in your garage?

I just installed a urinal in my boiler room off of the garage. Room is still under construction.

    1920’s(20’x35’) garage with flush lift

It’s been a while since the last update. The lift has been installed. I decided to go with 12” x 24” porcelain tiles on the floor (Iris Deluxe Perla Honed). A Schluter DITRA uncoupling membrane was installed over the entire floor and the tile was installed with 1/16” spacing. They will do the...

Looking for MA builder for concrete garage

I live outside Boston and went with poured walls, steel beams, metal deck, commercial water proofing membrane, mortar bed and blue stone. Did that about 10 years ago and it worked out great. Other than picking out the membrane, it's all standard construction. I forgot what we picked but it was a...

    1920’s(20’x35’) garage with flush lift

I’ve always liked Lista cabinets. I’ve bought a couple of used ones as well as one from Joe at Motorhead Extraordinaire via his "scratch and dent" junk yard (mine had one small dent). Joe visited me last week and just sent over some cabinet layouts. All of the counter heights will be 41” and I...

    1920’s(20’x35’) garage with flush lift

Snow and work travel really delayed things. I put some of the work benches outside, covered them with plastic and within a week they were buried with snow as can be seen below! The seams in the membrane were sealed with special red tape. A form was built and mounted to stainless rod epoxied...

I just bought two sets of SO combination wrenches, but I liked the Proto ratcheting wrenches more. I really like the box design. Finish and ratcheting action are outstanding. Each set has a very wide range 6-32mm and 1/4" - 1 1/4" which can be seen in second photo.

Flush BendPak SP-7X question, about to pour concrete

redmondjp, that's exactly what I needed to know regarding the depth of the pipe. Should the pipe be centered 2 5/8" from the vertical face at the top of the "u"?
