I used a Miller Cricket for years, it was fine for light home use. Got a black Friday deal on a Hobart Handler 190 w/spool gun for $599 and love it. OP if you have access to 220 buy the bigger welder, you'll like it much better. I like gas over flux, cleaner weld, less spatter.

I'll check your thread, I need to get organized and throw out some things. Hope to get a shed this spring to put all of the yard stuff in, riding/push mower, hereafter, shovels, rakes etc.

Don't really remember the old hamb format. It's a great place to get ideas for different builds, but it's way too restrictive over there.
