Yea I know, I’m a proto fan boy. Use their made in USA tools almost exclusively as a multi craft industrial maintenance tech. just noticed that it seems, on zoro atleast, the tools they’re advertising with the new fancy styling have coo’s of Taiwan, and the old style plain ones have coo’s of...

    Proto’s more updated looking tools

Was just looking at some stuff on zoro and noticed a trend with proto products. Looks like their tools with the more ”modern” looking font are manufactured in Taiwan and their tools with the more classic looking font are the ones made in the USA. Can anyone confirm? I really liked the look of...

SK Tools still made in USA?

If you’re in the market for a 90 tooth ratchet and are in the price range of the lp90, buy the proto 90t, it’s a much better built ratchet. I made a thread a couple of years ago with pictured of both opened up side by side

    welding hood/helmet headgear replacement?

Does the sweatband irritate your skin? Mine does, it seems to let grinding dust and stuff cling to it a lot more than the one on my Miller I use at work. I keep meaning to drop the head gear off at the Amish folks Down the road that do leather work to get them to make me a leather one

My trusty old knipex 00 11 03 finally wore through and broke after about 8 years of being carried. I was eyeing the pb Swiss just to try something different although the 4 position knipex was all I really ever needed. Just seeing what everyone else likes. Fwiw, this will be carried on a...
