Can you take a pic of what you did I am warranting out mine on Thursday this week and want to fix it so I never have to worrie again. The gears in the head are amazing its just flex part that makes this ratchet week and from being perfect.
Yea I need to just save up for the gearwrench or what in really want is Carlyle from NAPA there comfort grip ratchets are so nice still cheaper then the tool truck brands
Bigblue&Goldie I did squeeze the ears together it worked for about 2 weeks then got loose again. So I used a different screw it worked for a week them i put some pressure on it and now its floppy again.
I know I was saying that the ratchets heads are great I was commenting that I have the flex heads and I like my ratchets that I am going to buy the non flex heads I guess when I tried to edit my post I did not do it right

Guys i have the 1/4 flex, 3/8 flex, long 3/8 flex/ long 1/2. Out of those ratchets the only 2 i have not had issue with was the 1/4 and 1/2. The issue is if you put any kind of toquor on them the head gets super floppy and you can strip out the torx screw i have replaced the 2 3/8 at least 5...
tweedlestan i love the head of the ratchet thats why i posted this. I think the head is just as good at snap on and matco its all metal insides 72 tooth just want to find away to keep the fork and something to keep the head tight and usable.
