Eventually, you always need a jumper or something similar, and saving old wire keeps me from cutting up new, high-quality stuff for a 6" jumper for something. I also have a pet peeve about tossing anything that required extracting a somewhat expensive metal.

I would have probably just cut the ends off and used the wire for some low voltage project.

Vacuum is good for large leaks but considering the refrigerant is running at 200+ PSI, a pressurization test with something like nitrogen is going to make a leak more apparent.

Always. I always use either the hardware that came with the box or quality known hardware. You should see some of these fans that ship with junk screws that are metric.

Yup, I agree. The Autel options (and the others mentioned) offer significantly more functionality than the Innova by a wide margin. Honestly, I don't see any reason to buy an Innova scanner anymore. Even the Topdon Bluetooth dongle is a night and day difference compared to what they're offering...
