Check Craigslist, you can find excellent buys on older high quality boxes. Regarding Craftsman, I bought mine new in the early 1990's, and I've never had any problems with them. I believe the new ones aren't as good, but still made in USA.
PVC is only for cold water, and even so, I don’t know of any jurisdictions that allow PVC indoors.
CPVC is for hot or cold water, but I would never consider using it for anything other than a discharge pipe for a T&P valve on a water heater. It becomes very brittle with age, and your chances...
My shed is the same size (see the icon picture below my name to the left). I used 12 pier blocks, then three 12' long 4x6 pressure treated beams with p.t. 2x6's spaced 16"oc on top of that. Then 3/4" tongue & groove plywood as a sub floor; and finally 1/2" plywood with about 4 coats of...
Tubular brass drains have fallen by the wayside years ago. If you can find them now, they will most likely be way overpriced. Go with the glue joint plastic waste and overflows; commonly called “tip toe drains” or “push pull drains”. They are easy to install and maintain; come in a variety of...
Thank you all for the information and helpful advice.
I will be on the look out for the 1029 multi-speed attachment, it sounds like an ideal add on to this drill press.
I just picked this drill press up off of Craig’s List. The serial number indicates a date of 1945. I have never seen a drill press this old, in this fine of condition. Although I could have found one cheaper, this one was still way cheaper than a new one.
I do have a few questions maybe some...

Here's some from Zoro ...

Brand

Whats missing
Any other information
Thank you!
I picked this 1945 Delta Milwaukee drill press up off of Craig's List yesterday. It was cheaper than the new ones, and much higher quality, IMHO.
The seller also threw in a clamp down device and the pictured router table attachment.
It makes for a great birthday weekend.
I used a light gray indoor/outdoor carpet; the thinnest I could find, which is pretty thin.
On the top of the cabinet I used a ribbed black vinyl carpet runner. Both have worked out great for me.
I don’t think you will find any repair kits for that old of a PRV. The device next to the PRV looks like an old sediment separator. If it were me, I would replace it with a Watts pressure reducing valve # LF25AUB (looks like ¾”) which is suitable for incoming water pressures up to 300psi. And...
