I do lots of this stuff you don't need a centering bit you just need to pay attention while you start, once started is all gravy. PS us a hammer drill if you have one makes it far easier

Make sure you use a double flare on your brake lines, single flares are fine for a lot of things but not brake lines.

Does anyone have any Idea what this vise is, I inherited it and a basement full of tools from an old friend.
