    LOL, there are no tamper indicators on either the tool or the battery housings. The impact must be disassembled (I know , just the hammer and casing side) to grease it anyway, which I did twice already.

    It's hard to see but it looks like 60A on it. I will assume it's 6.0A since the battery is rated at 3.0 Amps.

    No reply from IR yet. Took the tool apart and desoldered one of the motor leads then connected one of my 19.2v Craftsman battery to the motor wires .. motor works fine forward and reverse. So I guess the Trigger & Battery Connector assy is bad. I pulled the battery tops to see if I could see...

    After reading the warranty on the website again it appears you may be correct. Looks like 1 year exchange on tool, battery and charger and 2 years exchange on the high capacity battery, and limited warranty after that to 3 years. I definitely read that wrong as I thought it was only one year...
