Pretty much an independent guy and a loner. Never ran with a pack. Spent my life self employed in sales but a good bit of my meager success was due to strong mechanical ability both with my product and in running the nuts and bolts of a small business. Although I was "the guy" I was always happiest behind the scenes, by myself, pulling wrenches. I'm a chronic house remodeler, auto/tractor/boat//rv mechanic. I retired fairly early, 55, not due to any financial brilliance but as a choice of the lessor of two evils, continuing to schlep it out in a horrible economy or bailing out and living cheap in the country. I never thought I'd be this broke at this stage of my life nor did I ever imagine I'd be this happy. I was extremely fortunate in finding the right distressed property at the right time and the right place. Besides traveling in my RV, which I do a good bit of, nothing makes me happier than puttering around in my pole barn and shop.
My dogs, spirituality, RV travel, hiking, home renovation, mechanics, gardening, canning
