No, dielectric grease is not the same. I would look for heat sink compound at a computer store, one that builds pc's or sells the components to build one. Maybe an auto parts store, ignition modules in distributors use the heat sink grease.

Thanks guys. These are some great write-ups, I am glad I did not rush to turn on my cutter. Jeremy, your pictures with the reference lines and circles really make it easy to see the fixes. Now to some inspection, mods & repairs.
