I purchased a Rock Island 542 BX bench vice and wanted suggestions on the best lubrication to use and or see what you think about restoring vs keeping it as is and using it.

I know this is an older thread but if anyone has time, looking for suggestions on whether or not I should restore my vice or keep it as is. It is a Rock Island 542 BX. I just purchased it.
