    Reed 2C Vise

Reed 2C Vise -- local pickup only. No shipping. Previously cleaned up and painted. Split washer has been welded -- I guess somebody thought they would "fix" it not knowing it was not broken. Slide sadly abused but not cracked as image shows. Otherwise, decent shape. Also selling a Reed 3C, 3...

    Show your “Crowntop” Craftsman

Too bad the rest of the box isn't in the same shape as the trays. I'm not restoring so off to the classifieds.

    Millers Falls Miter Box

No saw. I have no idea if it's complete. Minor rust. The saw guides and miter move freely. I thought is was a Langdon but was corrected in the Millers Falls thread. I prefer to trade for Craftsman long C combination wrenches. I already have 1/2, 5/8 and 11/16. Also looking for a Circle U and BE...

    Show your Millers Falls tools!

My quick look notes this as a Langdon -- I've been corrected, an Economy. It's in decent shape. No saw and no need so I'll put it in the classifieds. Oops, my bad. I corrected in the classifies.

Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff!

Dual marked. One little, one big. Little in very fine shape. Big marginal. Don't need them; trade for Cman long c combos (already have 1/2, 5/8, 11/16).

    Show Your Vintage Utica Tools!

These have no ID number but look like one of the NY telco cutters in post #22 in this thread. I haven't found any explanation for the matching grooves on the outer edges or for the single groove below the cutters. d42jeep's post #10 also shows the outer edge grooves. Apologies if I missed the...

Wilton 400 Bullet vise, use as repaired or for parts

This 4" Wilton 400 is usable in its repaired state. It's otherwise in decent shape; the jaws are quite nice. It's on a DIY swivel base. I prefer a local pickup. If shipped, you pay whatever it costs me via UPS (I can't fit it in a USPS flat rate box).

    Snap on vacuum grip

Left one, small diagonal cutter, Snap On Middle one only has a diamond symbol-type marking. I have no idea of the manufacturer but I'm including as it has vacuum grips. Right is Forged Steel. $40 shipped

    Craftsman 5176 Heritage Badged vise

I'm hoping to trade this vise for Craftsman Long C combination wrenches (I have 1/2, 5/8 and 11/16) and/or 3/8" drive Circle U sockets. It's in decent shape with some abuse on the dynamic jaw (I didn't do it). The pipe jaws appear to be a bonus as I do not see them in search result images.

    Show Your Heritage Logo Love

This was my first vise many many years ago, 5176. It's been sitting since I caught the vise vice virus via many carriers in GJ and replaced it a Reed. It may be more of a collectable though is quite serviceable as a small vise. I'll put this in the classifieds for trade. I am looking for Long C...

    The VISES of Garage Journal

I posted my Emmerts in July and have been wanting to make the missing "dogs" (as I'm calling them) that go on the pegs. I happened to have a hunk of 1" thick steel. I made a wooden prototype that seemed fine. I had to buy a 1 1/4" drill bit after ditching the idea of a torch cut. On eBay I found...

    The VISES of Garage Journal

Eureka, I found it! But after I took out the spindle, a minor adventure ensued. As you know (but I didn't) the spindle has a detent where the set screw seats and the set screw's collar behaved like there is a springy thingy in there. Anyway, it took a bit of "fun" to get it back from whence it...

    The VISES of Garage Journal

I see from previous older posts that others are on the look out for this type of Emmert. My vise vice has been cured but this was an exception. I may be dumb but I'm not stupid. For the foreseeable future I'm going to ponder what to do .... as in look for a proper stand ... But even then, I'm...
