I built this box and repurposed Gerstner drawers after refinishing them and replacing the felt. The cradle is fabricated out of walnut and is separate from the chest.

I have an Acme bullet vise dated 12-50 with 4" jaws. Not finding too much info on it either.

Upon further review they are grinder marks. Some have one. Some have four. Definitely didn't come that way.

I have several from the same era with the same marks. They don't look like owner marks to me.

Thanks. I used the dry lube spray from Liquid Wrench. Got it at Napa.

Thanks. I plan on filling it back up with the tools that came out of it. Mostly vintage stuff. Some of it pretty cool.

Recently acquired this set from the original owner's son. Just gave it a good cleaning and waxing. Removed the glides, cleaned them too and dry lubed them. Very happy with the results. Took about three days. I believe it fits perfectly in my "vintage" corner.

I just made a deal for this box. Look identical to yours. Just finished cleaning up the top chest. Took it apart and cleaned up with simple green. Then hit it with some rubbing compound and finished with some Turtle Wax. Its a big job. Took the glides off and hit them with brake cleaner then...

Just picked up this Bullet. Does anyone know what the markings on the sides mean? Also, any ideas about the lack of city on the side?

Started a few years ago when I found the Hobart meat grinder at an estate sale for $10. It was pretty rough before I restored it. Then came the coffee grinders followed by the Wiltons and the Hay Budden. I have another meat grinder underway too .

Here is an early Skil worm drive. it was part of my grandfather's collection that I inherited. I know he used it but I have not plugged it in.

Thanks. I'm just getting into the Wiltons. The Acme has smooth jaws and slotted screws. Not sure if the jaws are original. I just picked it up and have not really examined it too closely.

Here are pictures of the collection. Baby dated 78, 3" dated 3-46 and the Acme 4" dated 12-50.

I've recently acquired a 3HD stamped 3-46. It's missing one of the swivel nuts and I was hoping someone might know the location of one? Would love to keep it OEM but I'd go to the acorn nuts if need be. Not sure if I'll restore since it's in pretty good shape with some only some light use. Thanks,
