New building, help layout 2 post lift.

From what I can research, looks like the usual recomendation is 10 feet away from the wall. So Im thinking (2) 2x2x12 spots for the lift pilars around 10 feet apart. Any thoughts?

New building, help layout 2 post lift.

My building is coming up on the concrete stage. Going with a 4in slab w/ footers. I want to locate the 2 post lift so those spots can be dug out for thicker concrete. The far 10x10 door will be moved to mirror the left 10x10 (currently middle in image) I'm thinking that bay makes most sense...

Another question, since I haven't seen it yet. Should I drive any ground rods at the new garage?

    Detached Garage Power

same, I didn't think even that would fit. Sounds good to me! how much load are you using? Typical lights, (not sure what or how many) 220v compressor, ovh door opener(s), fridge, radio, etc is what I plan.

    Detached Garage Power

actual wire run length is about 35 ft. I guess the part I'm missing is how the large ends of the MHF will connect to a statdard breaker.

    Detached Garage Power

Would it be a breaker like the one feeding the house? Recommendation on amps? I believe a 100 amp sub panel is what I need for the garage side.

    Detached Garage Power

Hello All, Getting ready to run power to my garage. Here is a pic of the meter pole for my house. I intend to run a moblie home feeder to the garage. What is the recommended way to connect to the meter power? Thanks in advance.
