What is the longest auto/truck you may want to leave inside? Add 4-5’ in front, 3-4’ per side(enough to open doors), 2’ in rear. One garage door or two? If one, minimum 18’ wide, if two, each 9-10’ wide, door height is critical also. Roof height, what is minimum roof pitch for your weather...

Ask to see the engineered truss drawing, that will tell you the strengths of each design. I don’t see what or if you are using for siding?

Have the truss company build a scissor truss, then false-frame down to end wall. Then strap to every stud below

Have your LVL source provide engineering calculations for your situation, and sell you appropriate LVLs. You could use 11-1/2 with hangers on each bearing point, again with appropriate load calcs

Where in Indian River? Most of Indian River is 140mph wind load, including Sebastian. In Vero Beach (West of 82nd Ave), in Vero Lake Estates, and Fellsmere, the wind requirements drop to 130mph, gives more credence for wood.
